VOSS non-return valves can be supplied in numerous variants. These include non-return valves for tube line installation, plug-in cartridges for a block design or as loose installation sets for use in valves or blocks.

All variants are distinguished by design features for favourable flow characteristics and the chambered soft seal on the taper. This enables the achievement of favourable flow rates and leak-free shut-off.

VOSS shuttle valves are employed as automatic gates within a closed hydraulic circuit. With two blockable inlet openings and on outlet, the shuttle valve connects the connection A or B to the connection C of the valve, depending on the available pressure oil supply. The second side of the valve is blocked by applying pressure with a ball or a soft sealing sliding sleeve. The soft sealing variant can also be used in applications which require a pressure holding function.

VOSS shuttle valves are available in two design variants

• Metallic sealing variant with ball seat
• Soft sealing variant with sliding sleeve for additional microfine sealing
