Every 2 years one of the most important automotive trade shows takes place in China – the international “Auto Shanghai” exhibition. Between April 19th and 28th, 715,000 visitors attended this international trade fair, which took place for the 14th time in 2011. More than 2,000 exhibitors showcased new passenger cars, utility vehicles and components over an exhibition area of more than 230,000 m2.

In contrast to other automotive exhibitions in China, the truck sector at Auto Shanghai played a very important role. With FAW, DFM, CNHTC, SAIC, Daimler, Volvo, MAN, PACCAR and Scania, all major OEMs were there and presented on a larger scale than ever before.

VOSS Automotive was exhibiting in Shanghai for the third time, with its own spacious exhibition stand for the first time. It was here that the VOSS China Team presented visitors with information about the VOSS company and its products. The exhibits covered modules, as well as line and connection technology for compressed air brake, fuel system and SCR applications. Representatives from many OEMs and other important customers visited the VOSS exhibition stand to discuss current and future projects.

The Auto Shanghai exhibition has confirmed that the Chinese truck market also offers a great future potential for VOSS products beyond the existing business – from connection systems and line bundles for compressed air brakes via lines for fuel systems to SCR modules to meet the future emission limits in China.
