VOSS Automotive acquires tool technology – New milestone on the path to plastics competence
On March 20, 2017, VOSS Automotive GmbH acquired Günter Söfker Formen und Werkzeugtechnik GmbH & Co KG. As a one hundred percent subsidiary, the company will operate under the name VOSS Werkzeugtechnik GmbH (VWT) starting on April 1, 2017.
Günter Söfker Formen und Werkzeugtechnik – competent toolmaker for injection molding tools
Günter Söfker Formen und Werkzeugtechnik GmbH & Co KG is known to be a competent toolmaker valued for its quality and delivery reliability. Since 1971, the company has designed and produced injection molding tools for a great variety of complex applications. Frank Stohlmann took over the company in 2004, and set it on a further expansion course.
Today the family company, which has been based in new offices and production halls in Extertal since 2012, generates a revenue of approx. 3 million euros with its 30 employees.
Progress in focus – plastics competence as an important element
VOSS Automotive GmbH develops and produces line and connection technology for vehicle and engine construction. VOSS customers get everything from a single source, from the development and project planning to the production to the assembly of complete line bundles. This includes knowledge of the value-added chain up to the last link.
With the acquisition of Günter Söfker Formen und Werkzeugtechnik, VOSS Automotive is completing its plastic tool competence with a last, essential detail: its own tool construction. This is accomplished not least of all through the drive of constant improvement and the potential influence of all process participants.
