The highest quality in training - FOCUS Money says: VOSS is outstanding!
VOSS Automotive ranks among Germany’s best training organizations – that is the finding of a study undertaken by the Focus Money magazine. That prompted the awarding of the Focus Money Award in the “Automotive Supplier” to the company from Wipperfürth. The reason for the award is the good working conditions and opportunities that VOSS provides youth during their training.
Every year the FOCUS Money Award evaluates companies in Germany with the largest number of employees. In 2017 a total of 5,000 companies from more than 50 sectors participated. A large-scale study undertaken in cooperation with XING and kununu assesses the categories remuneration, training success, final grades and the proportion of hired trainees. The evaluation focuses for example on the opportunities for individual professional development and the integration of the training into a course of studies.
“Successful qualification is an essential ingredient of our company’s future strategy” is the description provided by Kai-Uwe Otto, Human Resources and Organization Director at VOSS. The company has a strong interest in training its own employees in order to let them perfectly specialize geared towards the in-house requirements profile and to integrate them into the company early-on. As Anna Maria Füting, responsible for the commercial training explains, VOSS is frequently successful in this endeavor: “25 percent of our employees originally come from our in-house training and have completed the courses at VOSS with great success and under the best-possible conditions.”
The attractiveness of VOSS as an employer lies in the scope of the education and training courses: along with classic vocational training, support in the frame of practical semesters, B.A. and M.A. theses and voluntary internships that are relevant for the course of studies is possible. In an intradepartmental trainee program, young graduates can gain extensive practical experience in the company. Every year VOSS employs about 15 new trainees and provides training in a total of eight professions.
